My approach is rooted in the Person-Centered tradition, which emphasizes presence, attentive listening, and respect for each individual’s own pace.
My background reflects a particular interest in identity, multicultural contexts, and the traces left by difficult life events. I work from an anchored clinical stance, attentive to subjective experience and the effects of trauma.
When it can support the therapeutic process, I integrate experiential approaches such as body-based awareness, focusing, mindfulness, or EMDR.
For some, the idea of working online raises questions or doubts at first.
For many, however, online therapy is not a compromise, but a way to begin from where they already are. Working from one’s own environment can support presence and allow the therapeutic work to unfold within everyday life. The therapeutic relationship develops through presence and attunement, whether sessions take place online or in person.
I chose to work exclusively online after beginning this modality in 2021. Over time, I observed how it can support people whose circumstances, sensitivities, or physical constraints make in-person sessions harder to sustain at certain moments. For some, being in a familiar and private space, sometimes with a pet nearby, can foster a sense of ease and emotional availability. With my clients, we found that this modality did not limit the therapeutic process, but supported its steady development over time.
My own experience of movement and cultural transitions has shaped the way I work. Over time, I came to see that distance does not have to be a barrier to seeking support or to feeling understood. Many of the people I work with live between places, are in transition, or have settled elsewhere for different reasons, and wish to maintain a therapeutic relationship with someone who understands their cultural and linguistic background. Working online makes this continuity possible.
